Executive dashboard for a national nutrition programme
Problem
The directorate monitored a national programme covering approximately 27,000 SPPG units and 58 million beneficiaries through static Excel files. Figures could not be filtered or viewed live, and preparing for a decision meeting meant rebuilding the same spreadsheets by hand beforehand.
What I built
- Standardised data arriving as separate spreadsheets from different units into a single queryable model, reconciled against the directorate’s own records so the totals agreed.
- Designed the structure so a director reaches the current figure without navigating, across six systems and twelve modules.
- Connected it to a live source, with filters and period downloads, at no licensing cost.
Outcome. Directors and the planning team open the dashboard themselves. Reporting that used to be rebuilt by hand before every meeting now updates on its own — and the figures a decision meeting starts from are the ones the director read that morning.

1 photoOne entry point for the whole programme: SPPG operations, beneficiary numbers, certification status, and supplier delivery. Twelve modules sit behind it, each with filters and period downloads, open to the directorate’s internal users. Directors and the planning team open it themselves for the current picture instead of filing a request to the data team. SPPG and unit identifiers in these screenshots are masked; the underlying records are internal.
